Day 2: Gentle Cleansing for Healthy Skin

Today, we're focusing on a fundamental step in any skincare routine:


Gentle Cleansing.

In the evening, before bed, use a gentle cleanser suited to your skin type to remove makeup, dirt, oil, and I'm environmental pollutants accumulated throughout the day. Harsh scrubbing or using overly stripping cleansers can irritate the skin, disrupt its natural barrier, and lead to dryness or even breakouts. Opt for gentle circular motions with your fingertips or a soft cleansing brush. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry with a soft towel.

Skincare Tip of the Day:


Double Cleansing (2 minutes):

If you wear makeup, sunscreen, or spend time in environments with a lot of pollution, consider double cleansing in the evening. First, use an oil-based cleanser (like a cleansing oil or balm) to effectively break down makeup, sunscreen, and sebum. Massage it into dry skin, then rinse. Follow with a water-based cleanser (like a gel or foam cleanser) to remove any remaining residue and ensure your skin is thoroughly clean.


Schedule It In:

Make cleansing the very first step of your evening routine, right after you finish your day's activities. Double cleansing, if needed, adds just a minute or two to this essential step.
