What do you think happens when you create a music nft?

I’d imagine a few of you think you get

a golden ticket to the money factory. Or maybe a quick way to lose all of your assets from one online transaction.  I get that.  I think it should mean opportunity.

Ownership. Copyrights. Yours? Mine? Creative Commons?

What does that even mean?!?

Well, it means a lot of different things to different people.

Ok.  But…

What does that have to do with creating a music nft?

Everything.

Ownership of your intellectual property is everything you think it is, and maybe a few things you didnt think of.

If you have your publishing in order and aren’t under contract, meaning you release your own records, the goal should be to get your music into as many stores, bodegas, and swap meets as possible.

There are as many blockchains as there are websites. Not all of them are worth your attention. A few, however, are.

If you’re new to the cryptocurrency world, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Tezos, XRP, Solana, Cardano, and Telos are great chains to investigate.

I’ve released digital collectibles on most of those chains, although not all of them. Each chain has its own pros and cons, but they all offer an alternative way to control how your art is consumed.

From the studio to your speakers, direct to consumer is making a come back. So Come check us out.

This was a shameless plug of our new digital collectible marketplace, with a few sprinkles of alpha dropped in.
